Residents' Committees

Last June, a nomination period was held for persons interested in serving on the Users’ Committee for the «CSSS du Pontiac» and also three (3) Residents’ Committees, such as: the «Manoir Sacré-Cœur», the Pontiac Reception Centre and the Hospital Long-Term Care.

The legal functions of the committee are:

Residents' committees (under the Users' Committee):
1 - To Inform residents of their rights and obligations.
2 - To foster the improvement of the quality of the living conditions of residents and assess the degree of satisfaction of residents with regard to the services obtained from the institution.
3 - To defend the common rights and interests of residents or, at the request of a resident, his or her rights and interests as a resident before the institution or of any competent authority.
