ANNUAL REPORT 2004-2005
The year was marked by the adoption of Bill 83, which officially stated that our primary role is responsibility for improvement of the physical and social health of our population.
Despite the serious shortage of nursing and professional personnel, we were able to attain the vast majority of the targets set for performance reporting and, in many areas, we greatly exceeded the 2010 targets established by the Ministère de la santé et des services sociaux for the Outaouais.
Last winter our organization adopted a new organizational plan reflecting the changes in Bill 83 and, above all, focusing our organization on services for users.
On the psychosocial level, our interventions were centred on the closure of the Tembec plant, as we tried to offer support to those affected by this difficult situation.
The Pavillon du Parc and the Centre de santé et de service sociaux du Pontiac signed the first official partnership agreement in the Outaouais, bringing greater clarification of the roles and responsibilities of each of our institutions.
On reading this document, you will realize how firmly our personnel and medical corps are committed to providing a wide range of services to our population.
In Appendix 1 you will find the statement of reliability of the data contained in this report and related control measures.
Finally, we would like to thank the personnel, medical team, supervisors and volunteers who, throughout the year, rose to the many challenges and adapted to the numerous changes in our network.
